Advancing Equity News April 2016

We LEARNED that Supervisors Mark Ridley-Thomas and Hilda Solis introduced and, with Sheila Keuhl, passed Advancement Project-supported motions to direct Prop. 47 savings to community based programs that reduce recidivism, increase neighborhood safety, and get residents the appropriate care they need, such as substance abuse treatment and youth development.
