Advancement Project California The Best Resistance is Our Collective Success

What We Do

We engineer large-scale systems change to remedy inequality, expand opportunity and open paths to upward mobility. Our goal is that members of all communities have the safety, opportunity and health they need to thrive.

Educational Equity

We ensure school facilities for all and expand educational opportunities for low-income children from birth through high school graduation.

Health Equity

We bring about real change in the wellbeing of low-income people of color who suffer disproportionately from chronic health conditions, by ensuring their neighborhoods, schools, and health services support and enable healthy choices in California.

Equity In Public Funds

We reduce and prevent community violence, making poor neighborhoods safer so that children can learn, families can thrive and communities can prosper.

Political Voice

Political Voice nurtures a healthy democracy by amplifying the voices of low-income communities of color in all political processes and ensuring that government responds to those voices.
