In her role as Executive Assistant, Carolyn provides executive-level assistance to the Executive Director and Associate Director at Advancement Project. Her 20 year history of providing high-quality administrative support to executives in the social science and corporate sectors contributes to her extensive knowledge of business and operational procedures and guidance. Prior to joining Advancement Project, Carolyn worked for a variety of nonprofit, social science research organizations that dealt with social justice issues. Her career trajectory includes positions at the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago and Rand Corporation. She attended Harold Washington College and majored in sociology and accounting. For the past nine years she has been a member of the American Society of Administrative Professionals (ASAP). In addition to her duties as an executive assistant, Carolyn has also been active in many organizations in her community, such as the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles.
