Ellesse Flores will further the legislative goals of Advancement Project California by providing additional support for the Sacramento Governmental Relations office as Legislative Assistant. She will be responsible for conducting research and analysis, scheduling and other office functions, and developing future Advancement Project conferences and events. She comes to Advancement Project with four years of experience in the customer service field. Ellesse has worked with many small business around the Sacramento Area as well as owned and operated her own. Most recently, Ellesse worked as a Student Intern for The Speaker’s Office of Member Services in the California State Assembly. There she led research efforts, tracked legislation, prepared presentations and training seminars, planned events, and created marketing materials for Assembly member offices. Ellesse combines her recent experience in the Speaker’s Office with past experiences in a number of other areas, including public relations. Ellesse is a recent graduate of California State University, Sacramento.
